Refund policy

Our Return and Refund Policy only applies to products purchased exclusively from the Website and shall in no case apply to products purchased from an individual or physical store.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us at support@misimuyote.co.za if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We have a seven (7) day return policy, which means you have seven (7) days after receiving your item to start a return. You must send back the product no later than seven (7) days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal or after starting a return. All valid returns will be replaced and shipped within 5 working days once we have received the damaged product and verified the issue.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Courier costs incurred by the customer for the return/shipping costs will be deducted from the purchase price.

 

Exchanges and Refunds

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You must send back the product no later than seven (7) days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, complete, undamaged, sealed, the pump of the perfume hasn’t been initiated, and in its original packaging.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  Please send the product back at your own cost, and a copy of our order must accompany your product. Products that are sent back with no documentation are not accepted.

Please note that Misimu Yote does not offer a free return policy and will arrange for the return if the item was damaged, faulty or doesn’t match the listing description.

A full refund will be issued in the circumstance that you do not want to exchange the product. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Should you wish to exchange the item for another fragrance oil, you will be liable for the return/exchange shipping costs.

Misimu Yote has sole discretion in determining whether the products have been returned in their original condition. Products that are returned not in their original condition will not be subject to a refund. They will be made available to the sender or sent back at Misimu Yote’s discretion.

Misimu Yote disclaims all liability and responsibility for any loss, shipping delay or delivery to an incorrect address of any order you wish to return to the online store, insofar as you assume the risks associated with your chosen shipping method.

Sample Refund

A full refund will be issued in the circumstance that you feel the performance guarantee has not been met. The refund is unconditional, and you are not required to return the sample. You can only start a request for the refund fourteen (14) days after checkout. To be eligible for the refund you need to complete the request within thirty (30) days of the original purchase. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
